ABOUT US

RGD is a proudly WA-Owned and operated company. Founded in 1946 by Ron Grant, whose family had a long history in Australia’s metal casting industry, we have evolved to sourcing high quality products from around the world to bring to the Australian Market.

Supplying to both our existing and ever growing reseller network, we are well known for our quality products and also our industry and product support plus ongoing advice and training to our reseller network and end consumers.

Agriculture

RGD’s beginnings stretches back to the Foundry business in 1946, and the evolution that followed with the manufacturing of windmill parts, butterfly sprinklers, and drinking bowls before extending the RAINDROP brand to include float valves, foot valves, check valves & more. Marine

With the acquisition of the All Floats Australia business around 2012, RGD has since been the primary supplier of polystyrene floats top the commercial fishing industry and agriculture uses such as float valves & dam floats. As well as the float business, RGD’s foundry also produces a range of popular aluminium products used in marine applications.
